liquid cartridge filter housing Liquid filter housings meet the highest requirements of the pharmaceutical industry. The most sophisticated manufacturing standards guarantee outstanding quality in workmanship and operating reliability. All pressurized filter housings comply with the European Council Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/EC. GMP-compliant design and FDA/USP Class VI approved gasket materials are additional quality features of our housings. Meticulously machined surface finishes ensure the highest operating reliability in terms of sterility and cleanability. Customer-specific documents are available for every filter housing. Hygienic design by avoiding dead space and pockets All surfaces that come in contact with the product are electropolished to an Ra< 0.5 μm Versions available in high-grade AISI 316 L stainless steel Connector options for installation of test and measuring equipment Condensate drain valves on pressurized housings for gas filtration Approved for use in hazardous areas according to ATEX EX II 2 GD c Easy in Cleaning Fineter utilizes a unique filter cup design that is conducive to allow a thorough and easy cleaning. The raised filter cup design eliminates small grooves and tight spaces that might be difficult to clean while still permitting free complete drainage of the filter housing. Flexibility Fineter offers the widest range of housing sizes and design options to exactly match your flow rate, pressure differential and hold-up volume requirements. Connections are available in many styles and sizes. Custom designs and unique configurations are available upon request. Ease of Installation Fineter housings are sold ready to install with all gaskets, o-rings and clamps. The flexible connectivity allows the end-user to install the housings to new or existing hard-piped installations. Quality of Materials Only 316L Stainless steel is used for all wetted surfaces to provide maximum durability. Supplied O-rings and gaskets are compounded only from FDA approved materials that meet the requirements for direct contact with food and biopharmaceutical products. Quality Control and Documentation An important feature of pharmaceutical process validation is documentation. All our housings are given stringent inspections during and after manufacturing including dimensional checks, weld inspections, surface measurements and hydrostatic testing. Each housing is labled by laser with a matching serial number on the bell and base. This serial number provides complete tracetability for the Quality Control Certificate, Material Test Reports, and Weld Logs. PED 97/ 23/EC Standard Stainless Steel Housings are designed and manufactured according the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97|23|EC. Our manufacturing process follows the highest quality standards and is monitored by an internal quality control system as well as by independent notified bodies on a regular basis.
