Ag/Fag Usage: Widely used in low current devices ,such as relays, timers, auxiliary switches for household appliances(Fag)control switches(FAg). 2. AgNi Usage: Usually matched with argentine cadmium oxide and argentine carbon contact, AgNi contact is widely used in low voltage electrical appliance. such as speed controller for trolley, relay contactor, voltage modulator, controller, starter switch for automobile, air circuit breaker, heavy –load relay, magnetic starter, vibrator rectifier, etc. 3. AgZnO Usage: Mainly used in circuit breakers, especially in universal circuit breakers. Other fields of application are motor protective switches, residual current circuit breakers and AC relays. 4.AgCuO Usage: AgCuO contact materials are mainly in medium and heavy load switches, such as contactors, magnetic switches, relays and controllers. They are more suitable for the application of DC contactors. 5.AgCdO Usage: AgCdO alloy is used most widely in being used as switch contact for igniter in magnetic starter, high-power relay and electrical welder, medium and large power contact materials, generally and also as contact for contactor and air electrical appliances. 6.AgC Usage: Mainly used in protective switches such as MCBs,MCCBs, residual current protective switches or motor protective switches. Application is normally in asymmetric pairing with AgNi, AgW, AgWC or Cu. 7.AgSnO2/AgSnO2In2O3 Usage: Widely used in various kinds of contactors, relays, circuit breakers and switches and so on. 8.AgW Usage: AgW alloy is used as pre-contacts for low voltage and power switch, crane switch, locomotive switch and high current switch as well as being used as relay controller under heavy load air circuit breaker. 9.AgWC/AgWCC Usage: Mainly used in heavy –duty switching devices, such as MCCB, ACB, residual current circuit breakers, In many cases they are used in asymmetric match with AgNi, AgW or AgC.
