Description: The IRBIS-LJ-01 is a flashing lifejacket light which is activated automatically by a water sensor, which lamp part and battery part are connected by wire. Installation: The LNK-LJ-02A2 lifejacket light is fit to use on all types of lifejackets and supplied with a fixing nylon rope. The rope through battery part of lifejacket light is tightly bound with a belt of lifejacket or reflective tape and the switch face is upward. And the lamp part is normally fixed in the front of lifejacket by suitable method. A typical attachment method is as below picture. The user must ensure that the light could be attached securely and is in the correct position on the lifejacket to provide maximum visibility when the wearer is in the water. The battery part with water sensor must be fixed at suitable position on lifejacket in order to be convenient for manual operation in water. Operation: The IRBIS-LJ-01 lifejacket light is activated automatically when the water sensor on battery part is immersed in water. And only water sensor contact at water, the light could be manually turned on or off by pressing switch on main body. Otherwise, when the water sensor is dry, the light could be turned off when the light is working but not be turned on by pressing switch manually unless let the water senor contact at water again. Maintenance: The IRBIS-LJ-01 lifejacket lights are maintenance free, but the following checks should be made annually: In the storing period, do not contact water sensor by hands and ensure the water sensor is dry all the time.Inspect light for signs of damage or corrosion.Test the light by immersing battery part in water, the light must flash. And manually pressing switch on main body, the light could be turned on or off. The water for testing must only be sea water or tap water.Remove the water sensor from water and dry it, the light could be turned off but not be turned on again. Life: The life of the IRBIS-LJ-01 battery is five years from the date of manufacture; the expiry date is shown on the label affixed to the product. On expiry the light should be removed by cutting rope carefully and the new light should be fixed again. Disposal: Dispose of used and expired lights in accordance with local regulation. This should be done through an approved environment disposal agent. Safety: IRBIS-LJ-01 light contains Lithium battery. These must be handled correctly: Do not dismantle battery pack;Do not make any external electrical connection;Do not recharge;Do not incinerate;Store between -30 +65degree celsius.
