Process description of the 300 litre Bio Diesel ReactorThis Bio Diesel Reactor can be used in an own process with only one tank which is for vegetable oil heating, alcohol mixing with vegetable oil, glycerine separating and bio diesel cleaning. If the process takes place in one tank the process takes about 8 hours. The system can be assembled with a glycerine separating tank, a washing tank and a storage tank for the ready bio diesel. This description is only about the process described with one tank for a batch of 300 litres bio diesel.Before starting the process of producing bio diesel, the raw material must be tested by a titration how much catalyst has to be used to produce bio diesel. The titration test is necessary because the amount of catalyst is different from new vegetable oil, used vegetable oil or fat. After the titration test is given to the oil, the corresponding amount of caustic soda is added into the alcohol tank from the top.Then pump 60 litres of alcohol into the small tank. The amount of alcohol can be measured by a special explosion proved membrane pump with a timing control filling appliance ( not included ) or by a higher standing storage alcohol tank for the premixing alcohol caustic soda tank, so that the alcohol will be filled by itself into the premixing alcohol caustic soda tank.After starting the pneumatic explosion proved mixer on the top of the premixing alcohol caustic soda tank for about 30 minutes, the alcohol and the caustic soda is complete mixed.
