Angelica Oil This herbal product is extracted and refined from supercritical CO2.Dong Quai is a member of the celery family. Greenish-white flowers bloom from May to August, and the plant is typically found growing in damp mountain ravines, meadows, river banks, and coastal areas. The root is used in herbal medicine. Modern research indicates that Dong Quai has a great deal of essence oil, vitamins, organic acids, rare elements etc., which have such effects as expanding peripheral blood vessel, decreasing blood vessel resistance, promoting blood circulation, inhibiting melanin-forming. Therefore it has good results in treating chloasma and fleck. Dong Quai has function of hematosis, liver protection, antineoplastic and diminishing inflammation. We use the most advanced high and new separation technology - supercritical CO2 extraction - to extract the active ingredients of Dong Quai and the extract has high content of active ingredients (ligustilide 60%) and contains a lot of useful substances, which are lost in conventional extraction process. Limited studies have employed dong quai as a means to promote formation of red blood cells, especially in patients with kidney problems.
