Secure the angle setters by slide locks as shown in the picture. Please make sure the two angle setters are in a straight line and are vertical with the top and bottom plates.. Loosen the front screw and black thumb screw of knife clamp to accommodate the thickness of blade. Attach the knife clamp to back or spine of knife blade at the center of knife blade. Tighten front screw to hold knife securely. Lock the knife blade in place by tightening the black thumb screw.Insert the countersink screw into the hole of the knife clamp and screw the alignment rod into the hole of the stone holder. Tighten the bench mount at the bottom of the handle and put it on a ground surface.Sharpening Instruction : Place the alignment rod in the hole of the angle setter for your desired sharpening angle. Each hole refers to different sharpening angle.Hold the handle for finger guard and sharpen the knife blade, beginning with the coarse stone and then fine and super fine stone. Be sure, drops of honing oil are applied on the stones before sharpening. When one blade is sharp, flip over the knife clamp and repeat the steps with some strokes, you will get a razor sharp edge. Care: Pls rinse the stones with water after use. Remember: Always apply a few drops of honing oil to your stone before sharpening. The lubricant floats away metal and stone particles that develop during the sharpening process.
