Resistant Starch can not be digested or absorbed in small intestine of human body, with only 2.5--2.8 Kcal/g, and 50--70% dietary fiber can not produce any calorie. It can be fermented and decomposed in the large intestine of human body, boosting the excretion of blood sugar and cholesterol from human blood, absorbing the toxic substance of food, reducing the toxin from bacteria in the intestinal canal. Moreover, it helps to get rid of the discomfort like coarseness and abdominal distention by eating traditional dietary fiber, to guard against constipation and colon cancer.
