Milled fiber glass

Milled glass fiber （glass fiber powder/glassfiber filler) is produced by grinding glass fiber in a special method into a powder form or cotton-like appearance.It performs the intermediate function between chopped strand and glass powder.In particular, it improves the physical properties such as thermal property and dimensional stability while maintaining the excellent surface finishes of the product.Milled fibre are compatible with thermoplastic materials ( including Teflon ) and thermoset materials such as polyester, phenolic, silicones, and epoxy.The product is also compatible with most asphalts, putties, patching cements and other coatings.Milled fiber could be used widely as a reinforcement and filler medium for improving the molding properties of all sorts of plastic composites, adhesives and coatings to enhance their mechanical and physical properties, increase modulus, improve dimensional stability and minimize distortion under elevated temperatures.It displays effectiveness particularly when used in R-RIM, FRTP and also in coatings and gel coats to prevent cracks.We may produce the milled glass fiber according to customer requirements:Product code ECPB-XXX, ECPZ-XXX, ECPW-XXX, .......Component E-glass Alkali content(%) <0.8%Moisture content(%) <0.1(without surface treatment) <0.5(with surface treatment)Filament diameter(µm) 5,7,9,11,13,15,17,24...Mesh(corresponds with the average fiber length,according to customer requirements): 1-2MM,20mesh,50mesh,100mesh,200mesh,300mesh,400mesh,500mesh…
