Fuji Alumina Ceramic Foam Filters mainly for filtration of aluminum and aluminum alloys in foundries and cast houses. It is characterised by excellent stability and resistance towards heat shocks. The complexity of filters is not damaged during the casting process.With their excellent resistance to attack and corrosion from molten aluminum, they can effectively remove inclusions, reduce trapped gas and provide laminar flow, and then the filtered metal is significantly clearner. Clearner metal results in higher-quality castings, less scrap, and fewer inclusion defects, all of which contribute to bottom-line profit.The foundry filters are manufactured in standardised and special sizes in basic thickness of 15 and 22mm and in sizes from 30x30 mm up to 250x250mm. They can be of square, round or rectangular shape. Non-standard shapes can be manufactured in compliance with client's technical setting and there is a really wide range of possibilities.Metallurgical filters are manufactured for use in smelting works for primary and secondary processing of aluminum and its alloys. The range of standard sizes includes 7,9,12,15,17,20 and 23 inches. Thefilters are manufactured in the shape of square plates with bevelled sides of 17°.
